Late Sunday night a Syrian intelligence officer claimed that the SAA had taken back the Salahaddin area of Aleppo. Reuters journalists could not confirm that this was true, and the SOHR claimed that fighting was continuing in the area, and that the opposition had held off the government’s ground offensive, and close to midnight the government had paused in its effort. Today in Aleppo there were heavy clashes in Arkub, Bab al-Hadid, Zahraa, and al-Hindrat camp and shellings. Helicopter gunships were sighted in Saif al-Dawla and Salahaddin
